Dear Parents/Guardians,

My name is Juli Cianciullo and I love being a part of the 7th and 8th grade team as the English/Language Arts teacher,  I cannot wait to spend the 2020-2021 school year with you and your child, sharing my love of reading, learning and literature.

Together, we will develop a meaningful and positive relationship. I will communicate regularly with you and strongly encourage you to participate in your child’s education.  Please feel free to contact me at any time.

About Me

I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 1999, In 2009, I earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.. In 1999, I began working at North End Middle School in Waterbury.  There, I taught grades 6, 7, and 8. I also designed and piloted a Connecticut Mastery Test class. In 2005, I left Waterbury to teach high school in Trumbull.  There, I taught grades 11 and 12.  I specialized in the teaching of writing and American  literature. After I had my daughter, I spent several years at home with her.  I worked part time for two years at Flood MIddle School, in Stratford tutoring Reading.

I am a Milford resident, and have lived there almost all of my life. I live with my husband,  nine year old daughter, Maria, and three dogs.  In addition to playing with and walking our dogs, we love to read books, especially the Harry Potter series, do puzzles, cook and bake.  During the quarantine last year, my daughter learned how to ride a bicycle. I love going on family bike rides now, as well!
